National Novel Writing Month @ Neuqua Valley

If you've ever read a book and thought about how you would have written it instead.
If you've ever wished there were characters in books who were more like you.
If you have imaginary people acting scenes out in your head.
If you've ever thought, "I'd really like to write a book one day..."

Then YOU might be a novelist, and one day is right now.
November is National Novel Writing Month (aka NanoWriMo), where writers all across the country challenge themselves to writing their stories every day for 30 days. And you (yes you) can do it too. Here's how:

Step 1: Decide that you want to write your fabulous novel (the world NEEDS your story!)

Step 2: See Mrs. Brambilla or Mr. Bodwell in the LMC and let them know you'd like to join the NVHS NaNo Club/

Step 3: Come to an informational meeting and write-in in the LMC on Monday, November 6th 2:30 pm. Bring your writing tool of choice (Chromebooks, notepads, quill & ink) and we'll tell you how you can join the novel writing fun, share resources to get you started, help you come up with a challenging but attainable writing goal, and do fun writing sprints to get your story started.

We hope to see you there!
